ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Three persons wanted for homicide and frustrated homicide were arrested early this week here and in Tapaz, Capiz.
Bendrio Damas, 29, a former Civilian Active Auxiliary (CAA) member and resident of Barangay Nayawan; and Jorilyn Damas, 25, of Barangay Daan Sur, both in Tapaz town were collared at their relative’s house in Brgy. Roxas Tapaz town.
Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 21 Judge Romel Lacson Leonor in Mambusao Capiz issued the warrant on June 14, 2022.
The court recommended a P120,000 bail each for their temporary liberty.
Meanwhile, a fish vendor here was arrested Tuesday noon at Barangay Tiza, Roxas City for frustrated murder.
Joemarie Lozano, 36, of Washington Street Barangay VII, was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) Branch 3 Judge Bonifacio Carmen Chuchi Asis Ramos in Roxas City on March 6, 2023.
A P36,000 bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.
