ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Three people were arrested after police and anti-drug operatives raided an alleged drug den Sunday afternoon, June 14, at Sitio Railway, Barangay Punta Tabuc, Roxas City.
Police identified the suspects as Ramir Ballos, of legal age, of Barangay Dinginan; Richard Mabini of Barangay Tanque; and Ryan Reyes of Barangay Banica, all in Roxas City.
The operation was conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Capiz against Angel Barredo Devera, who was the subject of the operation.
Authorities said Devera was renting the house that allegedly served as a drug den.
Devera managed to escape after he noticed the approaching operatives, authorities said.
Recovered from the suspects were seven sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia.
Operatives also recovered several plastic sachets and drug paraphernalia scattered inside the rented house.
The suspects are under the custody of PDEA-Capiz, while charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against them.
