3 Nabbed in Roxas City Drug Bust

ROXAS CITY, Capiz—Three individuals, including a live-in couple, were arrested during a drug buy-bust operation conducted Saturday night, November 23, by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Capiz in Barangay Punta Tabuc.
The suspects were identified as 46-year-old Daniel Buenavista, his live-in partner Bethelhope Peroja, and 30-year-old Cristina Villain, all residents of the area.
Buenavista was apprehended after allegedly handing over a sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for PHP500 from a PDEA agent acting as a poseur buyer.
Authorities also recovered 20 sachets of suspected shabu and various drug paraphernalia from the suspects.
The suspects are currently in the custody of PDEA-Capiz.
Charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against them.
