BACOLOD City – Three more officers of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) here have contracted coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
This was disclosed by Police Lieutenant Abegael Donasco, Nocppo’s deputy information officer, during the regular virtual media briefing on Tuesday.
Donasco said that the two new cases were from police stations in the northern part of the province, while the other was from the central part.
Donasco said these are local cases.
Donasco said the policemen were swabbed through the mandatory swab testing of the respective local government units.
Their swab test results were released on March 24, she added.
The COVID patients were already in quarantine facilities.
As of March 30, Nocppo has a total of 45 COVID cases, with three active cases.
