ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Three individuals were arrested by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), including the subject person, in a drug buy-bust operation Thursday afternoon, Feb. 19, in Brgy. Tiza here.
Operatives identified the suspects as Josie Jimenez, the subject person; alias Kent John, also of the same barangay; and alias Ryan of Brgy. Inzo Arnaldo here.
Police recovered from the suspects 11 sachets of suspected shabu and several drug paraphernalia.
Tiza Punong Barangay Dax Alovera said the successful operation had a significant effect on their village, following complaints from neighbors about the suspects’ illegal activities.
He said he had kept reminding the suspects not to engage in such activities, but they continued to ignore him.
The three suspects are under the custody of Roxas City PNP for proper disposition.
