BACOLOD City – An estimated P266,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized in separate buy-bust operations here and in two cities of Negros Occidental from June 17 to 18, 2019.
Arrested on Monday was Kirby Andrada, 30, of Barangay Mansilingan, for possessing four sachets of suspected shabu weighing 16 grams and valued at P200,000.
Cops also seized from Andrada the P500 marked money, and drug paraphernalia. He is detained at Police Station 3.
On June 17, Jayvee Porquez, 22, of Barangay 2, La Carlota City was collared at the said village after he allegedly yielded five sachets of suspected shabu worth P64,500, and the P500 marked money.
The top drug personality of Sagay City was also arrested last Monday at Barangay Poblacion 1, which resulted in the recovery of three sachets of suspected shabu worth P1,5000, and the P500 marked money.
Police identified the suspect as Jovic Alvarado, 31, of the said village.
