BACOLOD City – The one-week drug haul of policemen resulted in the arrest of 28 persons and confiscation of P287,572 worth of suspected shabu here and in Negros Occidental from Nov 9 to 14, 2020.
The seizure included P159,200 worth of drugs here, while P128,372 worth of suspected shabu was recovered in the province.
The buy-bust operations here were conducted at Barangays 2, 12, 40, Singcang-Airport, Banago, and Sum-ag that led to the apprehension of 11 persons.

Police Station 1 topped the list after confiscating P102,000 worth of suspected shabu, followed by Police Stations 2, 8, 3, 6, and 9.
In the province, eight persons were arrested in the cities of Victorias, Sagay, Silay, Cadiz, Talisay, and Kabankalan.
Seven individuals were also collared in the towns of Toboso, Cauayan, Hinigaran, Binalbagan, Ilog, Calatrava, Manapla, and Pontevedra.
All the arrested persons will be facing drug charges.
