BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) reported on Monday that 28 of the 85 officers infected with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)- have recovered.
Police Lieutenant Liberty Indiape, BCPO information officer, said the recoveries included two commanders of Police Station 4 and 6 whose names were withheld upon their request.
Indiape said that as of May 10, the BCPO has 62 active cases.
Indiape said officers who were already released from the quarantine facilities continued their isolation at home for seven more days.
The BCPO is thankful that the number of active cases is slowly decreasing.
Indiape said the city police force will continue to perform its duties amid the current situation affecting some of their personnel.
