Iloilo City’s greening program got a boost with additional tree saplings.
City Hall Chief of Staff Jonas Bellosillo and Jeremy Bionat of the Forward Nursery Mandurriao turned over 265 Fire Trees to Tacas Nursery Agriculture under the supervision of Executive Assistant for Environment Armando Dayrit.
Bellosillo and Brgy. Captain Abelardo Salting of Benedicto Jaro also turned over seedlings of Hardwood Trees including 100 pieces each of Narra, Bakan, Kamagong, Bangkalawag, Tuog, and Tapuyay.
The seedlings will be planted at district plazas, circumferential road and floodway area. (Iloilo City PIO)
