220 households under surgical lockdown

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – 220 households at Sitio Tugbungan Proper, Barangay Dulangan, Pilar, Capiz were placed under surgical lockdown due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The 14-day quarantine period started September 19 until October 3 after six persons were infected.
Barangay Kagawad Remia Dumagpi of Dulangan said they recommended the lockdown to the Pilar Municipal Inter Agency Task Force to prevent the spread of the virus.
The six affected individuals were presently under home quarantine including Punong Barangay Robinson Dinigla after he had close contact with some of the infected persons.
He said that assistance have been extended to the infected individuals and the households affected by the lockdown.
