BACOLOD City – 21 persons were arrested while P234,760 worth of suspected shabu was seized in separate buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental from April 3 to 10, 2021.
The seizures include P88,400 worth of suspected shabu confiscated here while P146,360 was recovered in the province.
In Bacolod, six persons were arrested in drug bust operations conducted separately in Barangays 2, 8, Taculing, and Mansilingan.
The operations were conducted by Police Stations 2, 4, and 7.
In the province, 15 individuals were apprehended by police in the cities of Bago, Silay, Talisay, San Carlos, and Cadiz, and the towns of Hinigaran, Binalbagan, and Manapla.
One of the three arrested persons in San Carlos City, was an alleged member of a drug group, according to Police Lieutenant Ruby Aurita, deputy police chief of San Carlos City Police Station.
