21 nabbed, P185,920 worth of ‘shabu’ seized

BACOLOD City – The first week of the month saw the confiscation of P185,920 worth of suspected shabu and arrest of 21 persons in separate buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental from February 4 to 9.
The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) apprehended 11 persons and confiscated P91,400 worth of suspected shabu.
The operations were conducted on February 4, 6, and 7 in Barangays 12, Handumanan, and Singcang-Airport, respectively.
In the province, 10 persons were arrested which resulted in the recovery of P94,520 worth of the said contraband, based on a report from the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo).
The drug bust operations were conducted in the cities of Bago, Talisay, San Carlos, Cadiz, Himamaylan, Kabankalan, and Silay, and the town of Binalbagan.
Drug charges were already filed against the suspects.
