20 promising jins hailing from the Iloilo Mark V. Pinggol (MVP) Taekwondo gym nabbed places in the recently concluded 2020 Online National Inter-School Poomsae tournament.
The Iloilo MVP gym jins never failed to impress in all the online competitions they joined since the COVID-19 pandemic struck Western Visayas.
Prized jins who nabbed the gold medal are Viene Marie Dulaca from Absorbent Mind Montessori Pre-School, Phil Caleb Regalado from SPED ISEC- Iloilo, Ma. Glaiza Fae Cordero from Miag-ao Central Elementary School, and Cyd Edryc Esmaña from Ateneo de Iloilo.
The two second-placers are Justin Adrian Apura from the University of San Agustin and Andria Margaret Palabrica from the Ateneo de Iloilo.
Meanwhile, Shanen Anica Feranco and Crisgel Castro from the St. Robert’s International Academy (SRIA) bagged the bronze medals.
Other jins who impressed in the Poomsae tourney are Maria Beatriz Santos, Julianna Martha Uy, Clyde Anthony Chua, Niesha Kariz Pequierda, Geon Ivan Dulaca and Enzo Lucio Cape from Ateneo de Iloilo, Joshua Cachero and Jannah Ysabel Velez of the University of San Agustin, Kate Sheevanie Santocildes from SRIA, Roycel Mar Decafe from Assumption Iloilo, Jilyn Rose Yap from the Philippines High School in Iloilo, and Joycie Pearl Tacuel from the Iloilo National High School.
The online national competition is organized by the Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA) in collaboration with the SMART/MVP Foundation.
