PANAY, Capiz — Two wanted individuals were arrested Tuesday afternoon, March 31, in Barangay Pawa, Panay, Capiz.
The Panay Municipal Police Station served a warrant of arrest against alias Arnold, 49, a farmer and resident of Barangay Pawa. He is wanted for violation of laws on the selling of illegal petroleum products. Judge Hannibal Rivera Patricio of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Sixth Judicial Region, Panay-Pontevedra, issued the warrant on March 27. The court recommended PHP 30,000 bail for his temporary liberty.
Also arrested was alias Teodoro, a resident of Sitio Arellano, Barangay Pawa, on an estafa charge. His warrant was issued by Judge Kathleen G. Delantar of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities, Sixth Judicial Region Branch 2, Roxas City, also on March 27. Bail was recommended at PHP 10,000.
Both suspects were brought to the Panay police station for proper disposition.
