ROXAS CITY, Capiz— Two tricycle drivers were arrested Wednesday afternoon in a drug buy-bust operation of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) at Datiles St., Barangay Tanque here.
Police identified the suspects as Roland Latie, 23, and Johnny Arcangeles, 35, both residents of said barangay.
According to Police Major Francisco Paguia, team leader of PDEU, 6 sachets of suspected illegal drugs were recovered from the suspects including the P1,100 marked money, 2 cellphones, a pouch and a tricycle.
The police estimated the value of the seized substance at P8,000.
The two are presently detained at the Roxas City Police Station.
