ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Two street-level individuals were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by Dumarao police in Barangay Salcedo, Dumarao, Capiz, on Saturday afternoon, March 15.
The suspects, identified as alias “Romel,” 23, of Barangay Janguslob, Dumarao, and alias “JB,” 29, of Barangay Codingle, Dumarao, tested positive for illegal drug use.
Recovered from them were five sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 15 grams, with a standard drug price of PHP137,349.
Drug paraphernalia were also seized.
The suspects will be charged with violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
They are currently detained at the Dumarao Municipal Police Station.
