BACOLOD City – Two men were arrested for allegedly stealing two karaoke players inside a restaurant at Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Barangay Singcang-Airport here Sunday night.
Arrested were Sky Inventor, 19; and Jay Rose Delprado, 24, both residents of Barangay 16 here.
Police Major Charles Gever, head of Police Station 8, said the two suspects were caught allegedly stealing the said items, including a microphone and a song book, through a closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera of the establishment.
Police arrested them in a follow-up operation at a spa in the said area and recovered from them the stolen items worth P46,340.
Both suspects are detained at the said police station for the filing of robbery charges.
Gever said they will also check the background of the suspects if they have also committed the same cases in other areas here.
