ROXAS CITY, Capiz – One of two females accused of cyber libel pleaded not guilty of the charge.
Court records showed that one of the accused pleaded not guilty while the arraignment of the other suspect was postponed.
The cases were docketed as Criminal Case Nos. 326-19 and 343-19 in the sala of Regional Trial Court Branch 19 Judge Esperanza Isabel Deslate.
The suspects were charged for alleged malicious comments and post on the Facebook accounts of the complainants which is a violation of Republic Act NO. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).
