ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A father-and-son tandem died while another son is in critical condition after their motorcycle crashed into a van parked on the national highway at Brgy. Nasunogan Dao, Capiz Wednesday evening.
The Dao police identified the fatalities victims as Dennis Fuentes, 29, of Brgy. Manhoy, Dao and his 3-year-old son.
Dennis’ 5-year-old son is confined in the hospital.
Police investigation indicated that the victims were on their way home from Dao plaza at around 9 p.m. when Fuentes failed to notice and rammed into a Nissan Urvan on along the road.
The victims were immediately brought by the Dao Emergency Response Team (DERT) to Sen. Gerry Roxas Memorial District Hospital also in Dao.
The driver of the van, Mark Nequedez Borja, 40, of Brgy. Lus-unan Panay, Capiz, told the police that the van suffered mechanical trouble the reason why he parked the car in the highway. The driver is presently in the custody of Dao police station.
