2 caught in pot session

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Two friends were caught in the middle of a pot session Sunday evening in a resort in Barangay Ilaya Ivisan, lvisan, Capiz.
The suspects were identified as John Rodney Obuyes, 32, truck driver and resident of Barangay Milibili here and Kristelle Kaye Abella Vito, 29, of Barangay Balatucan, Panit-an, Capiz.
The resort owner tipped members of the Ivisan PNP of the pot session after he got suspicious of the duo’s activities inside the resort.
A bellboy of the resort caught the two sniffing drugs when he checked the room. He immediately informed his employer of his find.
Recovered from Obuyes were an aluminium foil, tooter, lighter, and two plastic sachets with suspected shabu residue.
According to Police Captain Leomindo Tayupon, Ivisan police chief, the duo was already high on illegal drugs when they arrived.
Charges for violation of Sections 12 and 15 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against Obuyes while Vito will be charged for violating Section 15 of the same law.
The two were detained at lvisan police station.
