SKATERS! Ready your boards this September 7, 2019, as the postponed 1st Mayor’s Cup skateboarding competition is back in full action.
The competition was originally proposed on August 24 but due to heavy rains it was canceled to avoid injuries to our Ilonggo skaters.
The same mini-games will be available to the competitors; best trick on ledge, best trick down, longest ollie, and highest ollie.
Registration will start at 9 a.m., followed by the opening program at 12 noon, the tourney will start at 1 p.m., and the awarding ceremony will be at 5 p.m.
The event is organized by Bureau, a collective of street artists dedicated to promoting youth involvement in underrated arts, music, sports and subculture activities, assisted by the Iloilo City Sports and Development Division.
