BACOLOD City – Eighteen persons were arrested while P304,028 worth of suspected shabu were seized in separate buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental from Jan. 23 to 26.
Of the figure, four persons were arrested here with the confiscation of P95,200 worth of suspected shabu.
The operations were conducted in Barangays Mansilingan, Pahanocoy, and Villamonte under Police Stations 7, 8, and 4, respectively.
In the province, 14 individuals were busted with P208,828 worth of the said contraband.
The drug bust operations were conducted in the cities of Victorias, La Carlota, Bago, Silay, Cadiz, Kabankalan, and San Carlos, and the towns of Ilog, Moises Padilla, and Isabela.
The big drug haul was reported in Barangay Mansilingan here on Jan. 26, and in Moises Padilla town on Jan. 24.
