13 Western Visayas MSMEs join National Trade Fair

WESTERN VISAYAS — Thirteen micro, small, and medium enterprises from Western Visayas will showcase food, crafts, and coconut-based products at the 2026 DTI-Bagong Pilipinas National Trade Fair’s second edition on Oct. 21–25.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 6 is supporting the delegation to the fair, which features COCONUTPhilippines at Megatrade Halls 1–3, Level 5, Mega B, SM Megamall.
The event gives regional producers an opportunity to reach a wider market ahead of the holiday shopping season, with many participating enterprises receiving support under the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP).
Organized in partnership with the Department of Agriculture’s Philippine Coconut Authority and supported by the CFIDP, the fair follows the COCONUTPhilippines Trade Fair held in August.
The CFIDP includes market promotion activities, such as trade fairs and exhibitions, to help coconut farmers’ organizations, cooperatives, and enterprises find buyers for processed products.
“The momentum we are seeing from our Western Visayas MSMEs continues to make us proud. Beyond the impressive sales generated from these trade fairs and exhibitions, what inspires us even more is their growing confidence, eagerness, and determination to pursue new market opportunities and compete on a larger stage. Their willingness to innovate, adapt, and actively seek growth opportunities reflects the strength and resilience of our entrepreneurs and reinforces the vast potential of our region’s MSME sector especially for the coconut-based producers,” said DTI Region 6 acting regional director Mutya D. Eusores.
The delegation includes one enterprise each from Aklan, Antique, and Guimaras, three from Capiz, and seven from Iloilo.
From Aklan, PS Integrated Farm of Ibajay will showcase coconut-based accessories and home decorations, including leis, chandeliers, and necklaces.
Colsol Distillery of Patnongon, Antique, will present its locally crafted Don Tikyo rum.
Capiz exhibitor Nanay Patring’s Recipe of Pontevedra will offer coco gourmet, bukokayo, and ubod.
