1,174 examinees take first LEPT in Roxas City

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — About 1,174 examinees from Western Visayas and Masbate province took the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), the first such examination held in Roxas City.
The examination, held at Filamer Christian University (FCU), drew examinees from Capiz, Iloilo, Aklan, Antique, and Masbate.
The board examination was conducted through the efforts of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Filamer Christian University, the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), and the Roxas City government.
Roxas City was selected as an examination venue because of its accessibility to aspiring teachers from Western Visayas and Masbate.
Security, traffic management, fire protection, and emergency response were provided by the Traffic Management Unit, Bureau of Fire Protection, Roxas City Police Station (RCPS), Roxas City Emergency Response Team (RCERT), and the city government, among others.
Local authorities thanked the examinees, examination personnel, volunteers, and other stakeholders for their cooperation in the successful conduct of the examination.
