ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Ten police chiefs assigned in Roxas City and nine towns in Capiz province were relieved from their posts effective Jan. 29, 2026, as part of a regional reshuffle by the Police Regional Office 6.
Based on the issuance of reassignment orders and approved Resolution No. 2026-01, those relieved were Police Lt. Col. Ricardo Jomuad Jr. of Roxas City Police Station, Police Maj. Alfred de Leon of President Roxas, Police Maj. Tobias Garfin of Dumarao, Police Maj. Rachelle Garnica of Pilar, Police Maj. Narciso Sables of Mambusao, Police Maj. Cheryl Visto of Dumalag, Police Capt. Rian Ampoyos of Dao, Police Capt. Peter John Celino of Jamindan, Police Capt. Christine Cerbo of Sapian, and Police Capt. Jobert de los Reyes of Tapaz.
The 10 officials were part of the 46 police chiefs across Western Visayas relieved by PRO-6, citing overstaying in posts and performance-related concerns.
The relieved police chiefs came from the Antique Police Provincial Office with 11, Aklan Police Provincial Office with six, Capiz Police Provincial Office with 10, Guimaras Police Provincial Office with one, Iloilo Police Provincial Office with 13, and Iloilo City Police Office with five.
Their new assignments have yet to be issued by higher headquarters.
