Y4 elected anew as directors of realty firm

BACOLOD City – Yanson siblings Roy, Emily, Ma. Lourdes Celina Y. Lopez, and Ricardo Jr., collectively known as the Y4, were elected anew to the board of directors of the Yanson Realty Development Corporation (YRDC) for years 2021-2022.

In a press statement to Daily Guardian, Atty. Carlo Joaquin Narvasa, Vice President for Legal, said the annual meeting of YRDC shareholders was held March 8, 2021 at Seda Hotel here.

Eduardo L. De Mesa Jr. presided over the meeting as proxy for Emily V. Yanson, president and chairman of the board of directors.

It was attended by stockholders representing 66.67% of the outstanding capital stock of the corporation, he said.

Roy V. Yanson, Emily V. Yanson, Ma. Lourdes Celina Y. Lopez, Ricardo V. Yanson, Jr., Jerina Louise Y. Ramos, and Matthew Agustine Y. Lopez were elected by the shareholders anew as members of the Board of Directors of the corporation for the year 2021-2022.

The shareholders ratified all acts and transactions of the Board of Directors and management of the corporation under the leadership of its president Emily V. Yanson, the statement said.

In the organizational meeting that followed, the directors elected Emily V. Yanson as Chairman of the Board of Directors and President, Ma. Lourdes Celina Y. Lopez as Vice-President for Operations, Roy V. Yanson as Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer, Ricardo V. Yanson, Jr. as Corporate Secretary, Anna Isabella C. Galvez as Assistant Corporate Secretary, and Carlo Joaquin T. Narvasa as Vice-President for Legal.

The new directors of the company also vowed to continue court actions to unravel minority shareholders’ activities and their pretense to act on behalf of the company despite the absence of any legal basis for them to do so.
