BACOLOD City – A woman was busted for possessing P3.2 million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust at Barangay 3 here Wednesday night.

Police Major Charles Gever, head of Police Station 8, identified the suspect as 26-year-old Arlene Arnaiz of the said village.

Gever said Arnaiz allegedly sold shabu to a police asset for P5,000. Police also seized from her about 270 grams of suspected shabu, the P5,000 marked money, and P3,000 cash.

Arnaiz, a high value target of the police, rented a house at the said village for her transactions, the station commander said, adding that she would usually transfer from one place to another.

Gever said Arnaiz told the police that she got her illegal drug supply from a business establishment here. He, however, said that it is still subject for validation.

Basi bala himo-himo niya lang para patalang, so i-validate ta gid anay,” Gever said.

He said that Arnaiz would usually distribute the items here and some areas in the province.

Arnaiz is detained at the police station and will be charged for sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs, he added.

Meanwhile, Arnaiz refused a media interview when asked for comment on the allegations against her.
