Why I won’t take the vaccine-6

By Modesto P. Sa-onoy

The Philippine government is pleased that so far nobody has died from the vaccine, out of the 44,000 that had been vaccinated during the last three days. That is good news but it is too early to tell because some adverse reactions take time, some sectors saying up to two years. The number of the inoculated is still small and mainly frontliners who are taking prophylaxis and other preventive measures. They are also quite young and healthy.

So we get back to Chananya Weissman’s reasons for not taking the vaccine. Others also have their reasons why they would take it. This is a free country, at least so far politically but not when it concerns the virus and the vaccine. However, many people, like Weissman, have that unease about something they really do not know about.

Weissman says that “those who raise concerns about this medical treatment are being bullied, slandered, mocked, censored, ostracized, threatened, and fired from their jobs. This includes medical professionals who have science-based concerns about the drug and caregivers who have witnessed people under their charge suffering horrible reactions and death shortly after being injected. When the establishment is purging good people who risk everything simply to raise concerns about a new medical treatment — even if they don’t outright oppose it — I will trust these brave people over the establishment every time. I cannot think of a single similar case in history when truth and morality turned out to be on the side of the establishment.”

Indeed the same questions we have raised here and why the government is overly sensitive to actions taken by the medical professionals which are not in accord with what health authorities prescribed. I cannot recall when a doctor was prevented from prescribing a medicine that he believes is the right one. Until now.

Weissman put together two of his interrelated objections; He said “this is the greatest medical experiment in the history of the human race,” and yet “it is purposely not being portrayed as the greatest medical experiment in the history of the human race.” He resists because while this is a great medical experiment “all is being severely downplayed.”

Despite all the propaganda, the development of the so-called vaccines is hardly explained. I think one reason is the ethical issue that goes with the medical experiment – the use of the foetus of aborted children. Bill Gates and the WHO are strong supporters of Planned Parenthood that espouses abortion even on the last phase of pregnancy. This is abhorrent and contrary to Catholic doctrine.

In fact, many bishops and priest are opposed to the vaccine for this reason although their efforts are blocked by other bishops and even by the Pope who encourages people to get vaccinated. The Pope’s words on this matter of vaccination however do not carry the force of Church law and can be ignored.

The 18th and 19th reasons of Weissman strike at the secrecy in the manufacture of these vaccines. “Were they up front with the masses, very few would agree to participate in such an experiment. Manipulating the masses to participate in a medical experiment under false pretences violates the foundations of medical ethics and democratic law. I will not allow unethical people who engage in such conduct to inject me with anything.”

“The medical establishment is not informing people about any of this. They have become marketing agents for an experimental drug, serving huge companies and politicians who have made deals with them. This is a direct conflict with their mandate to concern themselves exclusively with the wellbeing of the people under their care. Since the medical establishment has become corrupted, and has become nothing more than a corporate and political tool, I do not trust the experimental drug they want so badly to inject me with.”

The Hippocratic Oath is betrayed. The medical profession is divided. While many remain true to their oath others have shown that they care more for their sponsors than their patients. And so we hear doctors mouthing the government and pharmaceutical lines while others are being bullied for speaking and doing what is right. Life and death has become a commercial commodity.
