The most significant accomplishment was the arrest of Western Visayas’s No. 1 most wanted person on July 20, 2022 in the mountainous area of Sitio Antolihawan, Barangay Toyungan in Calinog, Iloilo.

The subject was identified as Joel Leyble, 29, of Barangay Toyungan, Calinog, Iloilo who is facing three counts of rape and attempted murder.

The operation was launched by combined police and army operatives.

Police Brigadier General Flynn E Dongbo, PRO-6 Director, congratulated all the unit commanders and their tracker teams for the laudable accomplishments in a weeklong operation.

“Let us continue and intensify our campaign against wanted persons in the region. And may these arrests serve as a stern warning to the remaining wanted to surrender and to submit themselves to authorities,” Dongbo added.
