ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Police on Tuesday served arrest warrants against two persons who are detained at the Mambusao Municipal Police Station in Mambusao, Capiz for mauling a minor boy to death last May 15, 2022.
John Andro Miguel Iringan, 20; and Albert Vito Laberos, 31, both residents of Barangay Atiplo, Mambusao, Capiz are facing homicide charges for the death of the minor who happened to be their neighbor.
The warrants were issued by Judge Rommel L. Leonor of the Regional Trial Court Branch 21 in Mambusao, Capiz on June 6, 2022.
The court recommended a P120,000 bail to each suspect for their temporary liberty.
Police investigation indicated that the two suspects and the victim were on their way home from a birthday celebration when Laberos suddenly shouted and challenged anyone to a fight.
The minor victim asked him to stop as everybody were sleeping but Loberos ignored him.
The two suspects then beat the boy until he fell unconscious.
Some bystanders intervened and took the minor to Mambusao District Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
