BACOLOD City – Two men on board a motorcycle were killed in a road accident at Barangay Sagua Banua, Valladolid, Negros Occidental last Monday.

Police identified the victims as Edsel Hilario, 30; and his companion Adrian Sales, 23, both residents of Pulupandan town.

Police Major Wilfredo Benoman, town police chief, said the victims crashed into an electrical post while approaching the curved part of the road.

Hilario, who drove the motorcycle, was believed to be speeding considering the severe injuries the victims suffered from the impact.

Benoman said they have no idea if the victims were drunk and where they were heading to.

Both were not wearing helmets, he added.
