Two brothers nabbed for P88-K ‘shabu’

BACOLOD City – Police arrested two brothers who yielded 13 grams of suspected shabu worth P88,400 in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City, Negros Occidental last Wednesday.

The subjects were identified as Hiponia brothers – Dennis, 46, an e-bike driver; and Danny, 42, a fisherman, both residents of the said village.

According to the police, the suspects allegedly sold shabu to a police agent for P1,600 during the transaction.

Dennis is a listed street-level individual while Danny is a newly-identified individual, based on a police report.

Meanwhile, a 17-year-old student and a tricycle driver were also arrested in a drug bust in Barangay Bata here that day.

Operatives of Police Station 3 seized from them P34,000 worth of suspected shabu, the P200 marked money, P1,700, and a weighing scale.
