After a solid outing during the 2022 Chairman’s Cup, the Tigbauan Ninjas X EuroGrill basketball squad is ready to steal the limelight on the national stage.

The Tigbauan hoopers earned their place as national finalists in the upcoming MDC Sports Inc. 3×3 Finals after taking over the Iloilo City Leg one month ago held in Jaro.

More than 19 towns and cities will seek to claim the crown in four different categories to be witnessed live at the Marikina Sports Center from November 26-27.

The Ninja 21-under team that will represent Jaro, Iloilo will be led by PJ Brazileño, JP Caballero, JM Vicencio, and Alejandro Limsiaco.

Brazileño, Caballero, Vicencio, and Limsiaco earlier dominated the Jaro leg and are seeking to continue their dominance against the best 3×3 squads in the Philippines.

The Tigbauan Ninja X EuroGrill will be providing the plane ticket and hotel accommodation for the players and were also the support system of the star quartet.

Eager to make a statement and prove that Tigbauanons can play ball and excel to the top, team manager Mary Ann Portia Bernil said that these Ninjas members are ready to impress on the national scene.

The tournament bracketing and format are still yet to be announced but the Tigbauan Ninjas knew every challenge will be tough if they want to get that gold medal.

“We would like to thank Kaz Allison and Marnie of Sta. Monica, California. EuroGrill of Tigbauan, Divine Care Solutions of California, and Happy Tails of San Carlos City, Negros Occidental,” said Bernil in an exclusive interview with the Daily Guardian.

Previously, the Tigbauan Ninjas also excelled in the recently concluded NBTC 3×3 tournament and went as far as the Regional finals held in Guimaras.

As of now, the Tigbauan Ninjas are still observing their online intensive training with Bernil who is still based outside the country.

“Also, special thanks to Gemma Alaurin, coach Donking Sasuman and Fely Limsiaco for their continuous effort and support to the team,” added Bernil.
