ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Three wanted persons were arrested in separate operations Thursday here and in Jamindan town.
The Jamindan police nabbed Jose Valdenibro, 70, at his house in Barangay Lucero, Jamindan, Capiz.
Valdenibro is facing a rape charge with no bail. He is presently detained at the Jamindan Municipal Police Station.
On the same day, the Aklan and Roxas City police arrested the No. 3 most wanted person in Barangay Lawaan here.
Jose Dennis Fernandez, 54, of Pilar, Capiz but a native of Barangay Lilo-an, Malinao, Aklan was arrested for a rape charge also with no bail recommended.
Fernandez was turned over to Aklan Police Provincial Office.
Meanwhile, a 42-year-old driver was arrested on the same day at the house of a relative in Barangay Punta Tabuc here.
George Mariano of Barangay Durong-an, Tigbauan Iloilo is facing charges for homicide, frustrated homicide and attempted homicide.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Soledad A. Acayla of Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte.
The court recommended a P88,000 bail for the three cases. He is presently detained at the Roxas City police.
