The Terrafirma Dyip is ready to make another run in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) after signing its special 2019 Gilas draft pick Isaac Go to a two-year deal.

Terms and conditions of the contract weren’t disclosed during Go’s official signing which was graced by Terrafirma governor Bobby Rosales, head coach Johnedel Cardel, and team manager Ronald Tubid.

Go was supposed to debut for Terrafirma last 2019 but an agreement with the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) put him under the turf of the national team for three years.

The former Ateneo superstar big man was present during all of Gilas Pilipinas’ FIBA Asia qualifiers from the Manama bubble to their victorious campaign in the PH bubble where they swept the mighty Korean team in two games.

Head coach Cardel then expressed how excited and happy he is regarding Terrafirma’s future now with Go finally a permanent member of their squad: “Good news talaga kasi two years ang pinirmahan ni Isaac.”

Go will play a huge role in the young core of the Dyip team alongside former PBA Rookie draft no. 1 pick Joshua Munzon, the country’s no.1 ranked 3×3 player.

Aside from the upcoming 1-2 punch of Terrafirma’s Go and Munzon, the team still has super scorer Juami Tiongson, do it all forward Andreas Cahilig, and the injured veteran Alex Cabagnot.

Go is expected to make his PBA debut today against the Blackwater Bossing that will open a doubleheader Saturday.
