An 18-year boy who was accused of rape was arrested at his home at Barangay Apdo, Hamtic, Antique around 7:45 p.m. on Sept 20, 2022.
Arrested was Rhosinnie Kim Uniana, Western Visayas’ topmost wanted person.
Members of the Regional Intelligence Division (RID)-6, Antique Police Provincial Office-Provincial Intelligence Unit, Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU)-6, and Hamtic Municipal Police Station banded together to serve the arrest warrant against Uniana for violation of Article 266-A of the Revised Penal Code docketed in Criminal Case No. 2022-09-10253.
Jojo Cruz Cruzat of the Regional Trial Court Branch 11 in San Jose, Antique, issued the arrest warrant on Sept. 8, 2022.
The parents of a 9-year-old girl accused Uniana of sexually molesting the minor.
Staff Sergeant Gretchen Baguna, Hamtic PNP Women and Children’s Protection Desk, said that the suspect and the nine-year-old victim are relatives.
The incident happened last year at the victim’s house, where the suspect used to live.
Baguna, then 17 years old, allegedly took the opportunity to molest his young kin.
The suspect is now detained for the proper disposition of his case.
