BACOLOD City – Two persons, including a teacher, died in a road accident in Barangay San Vicente, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental last Friday.

Police identified the victims as Norberto Ramos, and Cesar Neil Ando, a teacher, both residents of Barangay Su-ay, Himamaylan City.

Police Captain Ellendie Rebusquillo, Binalbagan town police chief, said Ramos was driving a motorcycle to send Ando to school that day when the accident happened.

Rebusquillo said the motorcycle failed to slow down while crossing a bridge, causing it to swerve.

Both victims fell from the motorcycle and hit their heads on the ground. Only one of them was wearing a helmet, the town police chief said.

Rebusquillo said that one of them died on the spot, while the other passed away hours later at the hospital.
