Team SWAT Subway and ICPO Subway are still the kings of the ongoing Iloilo City Inter-Office Basketball League organized by Stanley’s Sportswear after maintaining their respective perfect records.

The SWAT Subway hoopers out-maneuvered the Chooks-to-Go squad, 114-87, and improved their win-loss record to a stunning 3-0.

It was all SWAT during the one-sided game after building their lead to as much as 27 points, 82-55, heading into the last two quarters.

Richard Lopez became SWAT’s money man of the game after dropping a team-high 21 points alongside his three assists that were enough to kickstart their blazing offense in the first quarter.

Ariel Guardapies tried his best to keep Chooks-to-Go in the game but his 24-point performance wasn’t enough to steer them to a come-from-behind win.

Meanwhile, the ICPO Subway tied SWAT with the best record in the league after a convincing win against Legato BPO, 100-87.

ICPO were all guns blazing against team Legato and immediately took a double-digit 70-47 lead during halftime.

Jayson Gentilezo was waxing-hot from the perimeter and tallied a game-high 30 points to lead all scorers including 10 rebounds and two assists.

Legato was led by Rolando Cunanan who dropped 18 points, four assists, three blocks, and two rebounds but could only watch his squad drop to a bracket-worst 0-4 record.

In the other games of the schedule, team ICPS I PNP nipped Imperial Appliance, 84-82, and team RBA Construction demolished Iloilo Mission Hospital, 107-73.
