Sipalay City employees test negative for drugs

BACOLOD City – One hundred fifty employees of the city government of Sipalay in Negros Occidental tested negative in the random drug test conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) last Monday.

The employees submitted their urine samples during the test held at the city’s New Government Center.

The test was conducted to ensure that government employees are drug-free.

It was held simultaneously during the Barangay Drug Clearing Capability Enhancement Seminar participated by the barangay officials, and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) chairpersons in the city.

The seminar was led by PDEA-Negros Occidental head Nicolas Gomez, and also attended by personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), and City Health Office.
