From world number ten to world number three, Rubilen Amit worked hard to improve her World Pool Association (WPA) ranking, tallying her tournament points from 5323 to 10,573.

The 37-year old Accounting graduate garnered huge points from her back-to-back second- place finishes in China and Japan.

Amit finished two heartbreakers during the 2019 Japan and China Open, had she won those two tourneys she might have placed higher than third.

Chinese Sian Han Yu is the current world number one with 12,180 points, followed by another Chinese in Siming Chen with 10,720 points.

Amit is currently preparing and is undergoing intensive training to notch the gold medal in the 30th Southeast Asian games.
