Roxas City’s digital innovations take spotlight in ICT gab

Roxas City’s Best Digital Innovation Practice were showcased at the 10th Visayas ICT Conference (VICTOR) in Boracay, Aklan recently.

Mayor Ronnie Dadivas was one of the speakers invited by the National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP), Visayas ICT Cluster Organization (VICTOR) and Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) to the conference.

Dadivas discussed the innovations mounted by the city government for better services such as the Automated Collection Management Information System, Contact Tracing System, CoVid-19 Task Force Monitoring Dashboard, among others.

“Ini rason nga kita kabahin sa mga Local Government Units sa Visayas nga napilian agud magpakigbahin sang aton Best Digital Innovation Practices,” Dadivas said.

Also present in the conference were DICT Secretary Ivan John E. Uy, Director Emmy Lou Delfin of the DICT–ICT Industry Development Bureau, DICT Assistant Secretary for Upskilling Jeffrey Ian Dy, Dr. Mary Joy Abueg, National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP) President; Palaweño ICT Association, Undersecretary of ICT Industry Development Atty.
