BACOLOD City – A sugar planter was wounded in a robbery incident at Sitio Cadulunan, Barangay Camba-og, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental Monday.

The robber then forcibly grabbed her sling bag containing P125,000, but she fought back, which triggered the perpetrator to pistol whip her.

Villasario said the victim suffered minor injuries in the head and fell unconscious, while the suspect fled allegedly along with his companion on board a motorcycle.

He added that it was possible that the perpetrator knew the victim and waited for her to pass by the area.
