The Rivero family continues to hand out help in their hometown of Isabela amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

After dishing out relief packages to the frontliners in Isabela, UP basketball star Ricci Rivero, his brother Prince, and dad Paolo distributed personal protective equipment to the medical staff of Isabela United Doctors Medical Center and Southern Isabela Medical Center.

Also, Gatorade and Pepsi, Ricci’s sponsors, gave him boxes of drinks to help in his relief operations amid the pandemic.

“Hangga’t mayroon puwedeng matulungan at hangga’t mayroon akong maitutulong, tuluy-tuloy lang po kami ng family ko sa pagbigay ng support. Wala pong maliit at malaki na tulong at this point. Ang importante po ay ‘yung magdamayan tayong lahat,” said Rivero.

Since coming home to Isabela, the Rivero family has been donating whatever relief goods they can gather and distributing to barangay officials, police, checkpoint personnel, and the different hospitals.

“We just pray na sana matapos na ito na safe tayo lahat and kasi ang hirap din na makita mga kababayan namin na nahihirapan,” Paolo said, Ricci’s dad.
