Reward for capture of capitol consultant’s assassins up to P2M

BACOLOD City – The provincial government Negros Occidental has increased the bounty for the arrest of the suspects in the killing of Capitol consultant Mariano Antonio “Marton” Cui here from P1.5 million to P2 million.

The reward was increased after authorities have yet to make a breakthrough in the identification of the suspects.

Cui was assassinated on April 12, 2021.

He was hit by long-range shots while he was about to board his vehicle outside his office at Emerald Arcade on F.C. Ledesma Avenue, Barangay Palampas, San Carlos City.

Any information that would lead to the capture of the person or individuals behind his death may relay it to Atty. Renoir Baldovino, head of the National Bureau of Investigation Bacolod District Office at 034 703 2931.

Cui was known to be a trusted aide of former 1st District Congressman Jules Ledesma in his business and political affairs.

He is closely associated with Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson who was a former mayor of San Carlos City and a political ally of Ledesma.
