John Riel Casimero’s camp isn’t taking this opportunity for granted.

After Top Rank’s Bob Arum said that there will be no bantamweight unification clash between Casimero and Naoya “Monster” Inoue, Manny Pacquiao (MP) Promotions president Sean Gibbons quickly contradicted Arum’s statement.

With Gibbons assuring that the blockbuster fight would push through, Casimero’s camp quickly went to work and focused on their training camp.

Casimero’s camp then grabbed the chance to tap Mexican strength and conditioning coach Memo Heredia, one of the most seasoned veterans in his field in the sport.

The Casimero camp is no stranger to Heredia’s capabilities as he was the man behind Casimero’s splendid conditioning in his title-clinching fight against Zolani Tete.

Hoping to achieve the same conditioning, Gibbons handpicked Heredia to make sure Casimero had all the tools he needed to stop the Japanese monster.

Casimero has been laser-focused since March, preparing for the fight and making sure his conditioning allows him to go toe-to-toe against the “Monster”.
