RC Bacolod, fire volunteers bring relief to typhoon survivors in NegOr village

The Rotary Club of Bacolod in partnership with Bacolod City’s Chamber Volunteer Fire Brigade rekindled the bayanihan spirit by bringing relief to Typhoon Odette survivors in Brgy. Binobohan, Guihulngan, Negros Oriental last Jan 8 2022.

The team distributed 500 grocery packs, food packs, drinking water, used children’s toys and other items.

Leading the distribution were RC Bacolod Life Changing President Pauline Cuaycong, Past District Governor Edgar Sy, Past President & Club Secretary Frederick Anthony de Leon, Past President Jose Glen de Gusman, Club Directors headed by Marjorie Dino, and the Chamber Volunteer Fire Brigade headed by PDG Edgar Sy.

Also present were teachers of GH-Binobohan Extension National High School, Ms. Amy Cuizon, Sgt. Alan Gabunales of the 62IB 3ID of the Philippine Army, Brgy. Captain Elmer Catong, barangay officials, workers and tanods, Ms. Alicia Arquillos, Ms. Helyn Bardoc, Ms. Vhicky Escoreal, Sierra Echo, Ms. Josephine Escolanacatong and the people of Brgy. Binobohan.

About 50 Life Changing Rotarians, Chamber Volunteer Fire Brigade, Club Secretariat and volunteers joined the relief operations.
