Guided by the advocacy theme “Faithfull to the Vision Beyond 100 years,” the Quota International of Iloilo led by PLDG Maria Luisa Segovia recently hosted the 5th Joint Region 18 and 19 Convention in Iloilo City.

A fun-filled welcome dinner at the Anne Margaret Ballroom of Diversion 21 Hotel kicked off the event with no less than Quota International President Emelie L. Simon and Iloilo City Mayor Joe Espinosa III and First Lady Gina Sarabia-Espinosa gracing the event.

Quota International is a non-profit organization empowering women, children, the deaf and hard-of-hearing, and people with speech difficulties in local communities around the world.

In 1919, five businesswomen who were inspired to serve founded Quota International as the first international women’s service organization.

To date, it has more than 5,000 members – women, men, and youth who gathered to help women and children overcome poverty, educational, and workforce challenges in 14 countries.
