PRO-6 concludes BISOC, opens next batch of training

The Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 held the Joint Closing and Opening Ceremony of Basic Internal Security Operations Course (BISOC) at the PRO-6 Grandstand on October 2, 2021.

The PNP BISOC Classes 05 to 11–R6 were composed of 316 patrolmen and women who officially ended their training on the same day.

On the other hand, 560 neophyte police officers attended the opening ceremony for the same course.

BISOC is one of the mandatory courses before a police trainee will be considered as a full pledged police officer.

The training develops discipline, character, skills and knowledge in terms of internal security and other police operations.

These 316 new graduates are now ready for deployment to different areas of the region.

The 560 rookie cops will spend a minimum of 45 days of training at the 2nd Iloilo Police Mobile Force Company, Camp Jalandoni, Sara, Iloilo. The training will hone their skills in both administrative and police operations.

Highlighting the activity was the awarding of the trainees with exemplary marks during the training:

In his message, Police Brig Gen Rolando Miranda, PRO-6 director, congratulated the BISOC Trainees and their training instructors for the committed efforts in honing the skills of the trainees in preparation for their next assignments in the different mobile forces regionwide.

“For the graduating class, kung ano ang itinuro ng mga Instructors na natutunan nyo, gampanan nyo ng mabuti ang trabaho at isagawa nyo ang mga bagay na itinuro sa inyo,” Miranda said.

He also encouraged the incoming trainees to be physically and mentally prepared. “Before I retire, I will visit you in Sara to see what assistance the Regional Headquarters can provide to improve your training and the conditions and facilities of our police officers here in PRO-6,” he added.

In attendance during the ceremony were the members of the PRO-6 Command Group and Training Staff.
