PNP BISOC trainees send-off for community immersion

Western Visayas’ top cop, Police Brigadier General Leo M Francisco, led the send-off ceremony of PNP trainees for Community Immersion Program of BISOC Classes 01 to 07–2022-R6 “MARAGSIK”  on Sept 14, 2022 at the Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 Grandstand in Camp Gen Martin Teofilo B Delgado, Iloilo City.

The trainees included 555 patrolmen and women (516 are males and 39 females).

The last part of their training is to undergo the Community Support Program (CSP).

The CSP is undertaken to sustain the peace, ensure security and help maintain public order to foster the foundation for economic and human development of the individuals or communities who are considered to be “at risk”.

The latter module is part of the training, purposely to widen their experience and to fully equip them of the necessary skills as future maintainers of peace, order and security.

BISOC Classes 01 to 07-2022 R6 is composed of personnel recruited in 2018 to 2020.

Regional Pastoral Officer, Police Lieutenant Colonel Mark Virgil Ibardolaza, blessed the personnel and equipment.

The activity was also attended by Police Colonel Rey N Cuevas, Chief Regional Special Training Unit 6; Police Colonel Lea Rose Peña, Chief Regional Learning and Doctrine Development, and other officers..
