Another mega-trade is about to go down in the PBA.

According to multiple sources, Phoenix Super LPG will let go of superstar big man Vic Manuel in exchange for NorthPort’s Sean Anthony.

The sources also added that the needed trade papers and requests are already received by the PBA Commissioner’s office and are just subject to approval of commissioner Willie Marcial.

Manuel, one of the PBA’s premier big men, wasn’t able to help the Super LPG reach the playoffs of the recently concluded All-Filipino Cup despite their all-star lineup of Matthew Wright and Chris Banchero.

Meanwhile, Anthony, a known hard worker inside the playing court, has proven again and again that he can be the energy guy that any team needed.

Anthony and NorthPort nearly eliminated the San Miguel Beermen during the PBA quarterfinals but missed their chances after an Alex Cabagnot dagger in Game 1.

Also included in the trade package is Michael Calisaan of Phoenix who was added to pair with Manuel in the trade block.

As of now, both teams are yet to receive the decision of commissioner Marcial and will have to wait for the final approval for it to push through.
